4 tips for a successful escape

Many people think that the good people in escape rooms are those who are good at puzzles and
they are considered problem solvers. Although this is a useful skill, it should not be forgotten that a
escape room is a team game. The real key to escape is to use strategies that
they make a team work together in the smartest and most efficient way possible.
Successfully playing escape rooms can be difficult if you don't know how to successfully escape
with best practices. This article provides 4 important tips that will help you and the rest of your team to successfully exit the rooms.

1. Communicate!

It is very easy to get into the state of closing yourself off in your own thoughts while solving tasks. But we must not forget that this is a team game and you and your friends can help each other. Four eyes see more than two, so use them as much as you can! If you find a clue, sign, etc. be sure to communicate this to the rest of your team. It is very likely that other pieces of the puzzle are connected to your clue. Also, if you're stuck on a specific clue or puzzle, ask the rest of your team for help! Sometimes all you need is another set of eyes to see things differently. Don't hesitate, ask your friends for help!

2. Be alert!

Anything can happen in an escape room. In the escape room, hidden doors, safes and other clues are deceptively hidden everywhere. This means that it is especially important to take a close look at your surroundings. It's more than just looking - turn things around, look behind everything, be suspicious of everyday objects, etc. If you do it well and thoroughly, you are guaranteed to have many surprises. This way you can discover a host of secret doors and hidden cavities. Just be careful not to overdo it! If you want to force something that doesn't want to move, or if there is clearly no screw in relation to the given object, then be careful, because you can easily damage the equipment or, in the worst case, make the room unplayable.

3. Divide and conquer!

You usually only have 60-75 minutes in an escape room, so efficient use of resources is especially important. What are your most valuable resources in an escape room? The

teammates. Make your team more efficient by avoiding duplication of work. Team members must be distributed around the room and solve various clues and puzzles. If several people spend too much time in certain parts of the room, working on the same task, they may miss other important clues.

4. Use the clues when you need them!

While it's an extremely impressive feat to get out of a room by accidentally guessing the codes to the locks and the puzzles, it's highly unlikely. It is very important that you use the clues and objects you find. In almost every escape room game, there's a point where your group gets stuck where they don't know how to proceed. If you need that extra little boost, don't be afraid to ask the game master for help. Don't feel that your pride is diminished by this. After all, it's much better to get out with a little help than not.

If you are still waiting for your first successful release, we hope this post will help you get there to try it. Next time you play in an escape room, keep these things in mind
strategies and advice will definitely help you a lot.

Time is ticking. Good luck!
